Our Fees
POLICE STATION ATTENDANCE
FREE - We have a contract with the Legal Aid Agency to provide assistance at Police Station at Legal Aid rates. This will mean no charge to you. This covers any necessary attendance at a police station to advise and assist detainees.
PRIVATE - We also provide a PRIVATE service 24 hours each day for a BESPOKE service particular to your needs and circumstances and will include necessary work if you are on polcie bail at a flat rate of £1000 + VAT; please note that applications to the Magistrates’ Court to vary police bail will incur a further fee.

CROWN COURT
LEGAL AID - we can advise if you are eligible for legal aid in the Magistrates’ Court which is means tested.
If you (and / or your partner) receive an income other than benefits then your application will be subject to a full means inquiry by the court to see if you are financially eligible for legal aid. If your income per year is above about £21,000 you will not be financially eligible for legal aid at the Magistrates Court.
If you are single and your gross income per year is below £11,590 you will be financially entitled to legal aid in the Magistrates Court.
If your gross income is between £11,590 and £20,750 then whether you are financially eligible for legal aid will depend on your disposable income.
PRIVATE FEES - all inclusive of taking instruciotns, considering evidence and advising:
Guilty Plea - Attendance at Court on a Guilty Plea including taking your instruciotns and advising before the hearing £1000 + VAT, please note that if the matter is adjourned to a second hearing this fee rises to £1500 + VAT
NOT GUILTY PLEA + TRIAL - Attendance at Court for the initial plea hearing and then at trial up to one full day trial £2500 + VAT
SPECIAL REASONS ARGUMENTS (Motoring)- Attendance at Court at the initial hearing and then at the Special reasons Hearing up to one full day £2500 + VAT
EXTRADITION HEARING - Extradition proceedings in the Magistrates’ Court are eligible for legal aid int he same way as criminal cases - appeals to the High Court are always eligible for legal aid. We also provide a private service with an initial hearing and a full heairng in the Magistrtaes’ Court at £2500 + VAT
OTHER HEARINGS - We will be pleased to quote you separately for other types of hearing such as applications to vary police bail condiitons or to return property seized by the police.
Most cases in the Crown Court are elegible for legal aid and most defendants are too. We can advise and assist to apply for legal aid int he Crown Court
We do also represent clients on a provate basis for a complete BESPOKE defence service; this allows us to instruct the best Counsel and other experts. Fees for this service start at £10,000 + VAT and it will necessary to discuss your case before we can provide a quote.
